“Russia and Belarus are witnessing increased NATO military activity near their borders,” said Sergey Naryshkin, Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, European countries are escalating tensions around Ukraine.
“Poland and the Baltic states must understand that in case of NATO aggression against the Union State [Russia-Belarus], they will be the first to suffer,” Naryshkin warned.
The SVR chief also stated that Russia and the United States are engaged in intensive dialogue.
