The first three months of 2025 have witnessed some major Bollywood releases with only a few films dominating the box office while other struggled to even make an impact. Chhaava has set a benchmark leaving other films behind in terms of collections. Meanwhile, Sikandar is still running in theatres, adding to its overall net earnings. Let’s take a look at how the top releases have performed so far.
Chhaava: A Massive Hit
On the top is Vicky Kaushal’s film Chaavaa, that has emerged as the biggest hit of the year so far. The historical drama has collected Rs. 545 crore at the box office. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie resonated with its audience due to its power packed performances and intense story line.
Sky Force : A Decent Performer
Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan has managed to secure the second position by earning Rs.131.44 crore at the box office. The patriotic drama struck a chord with a section of audience but it could not reach the blockbuster status many expected.
Sikandar : Still Running Strong
Salman Khan returned to the big screen this Eid with his most anticipated movie Sikandar, marking his first festive release in two years. The AR Murugadoss directed action thriller has managed collect Rs.55 crore so far. While its initial collections were moderate, word-of-mouth and Salman’s massive fan base have maintained its momentum.

Deva, The Diplomat And Others
John Abraham’s The Diplomat and Shahid Kapoor’s Deva have had underwhelming runs at the box office. Deva has earned Rs.32 crore while The Diplomat only managed to earn Rs. 30 crore. The worst-performing film among the major releases has been Badass Ravikumar, which could only collect Rs. 9.66 crore. The lack of strong storytelling and an audience disconnect contributed to its poor performance.
