President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden hosted a tea at the White House for the Trumps before the swearing-in ceremony, after a church service at St. John’s Church, which the Bidens and Harrises did not attend.
Attendees at St. John’s Monday morning included Musk, the world’s richest man, as well as Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Apple CEO Tim Cook and Bezos—a litany of tech titans who have sought stronger relationships with Trump after once clashing with him.

What To Watch For
The service at St. John’s was the first stop of the day and was followed by a tea at the White House with the Bidens. Trump will be sworn in at noon EST in a ceremony that has been moved inside the Capitol Rotunda due to weather. The swearing-in ceremony will be followed by a farewell to Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, a signing room ceremony and a presidential parade, which will be held inside for the first time since 1985. The parade will be followed by another signing at the White House, this time in the Oval Office, and Trump will attend three inaugural balls, and is expected to speak at each, Monday night.
